Police music Tyrol
The police music Tyrol is available for the Landespolizeidirektion Tirol for internal and external public relations.
The band which is in charge of supporting the federal province of Tyrol consists of 60 policewomen and policemen, who work in different police stations all over Tyrol. Aside of internal occasions in different orchestrations such as the framing of various celebrities, openings, summer festivals and funerals, there are also numerous concerts in the districts and touristical regions of the Tyrol throughout the year. Of course the orchestra has also had appearances in other federal provinces as well as in neighbouring countries.
The police music of Tyrol with their conductor Michael Geisler has an excellent reputation in the country and can thrill its audience with its highly developed musical quality again and again. So the sense of identity of the policewomen and policemen should be fostered and the trust of the people in the police should get strengthened.
One of the highlights since the foundation of the orchestra was the concert-journey to New York in September 2016 to participate at the 59th Steubenparade, but also taking part at ,Birmingham Tattoo 2018‘ was a great honour for the band. As a representative of the Austrian police it succeded in thrilling the audience in the USA as well as in Birmingham.
